I can say “absolutely everywhere and everything”, right?!
Seriously though, formulating lists of travel ideas is something I love doing… but am perpetually adding to! Travel is something I think about all the time, and contrary to the belief of most people, it’s gotten worse (or better depending on how you look at it!) since getting pregnant. I daydream about far-flung places whilst I’m in work, I scroll through travelgrammers on Instagram, scour through travel blogs, and I honestly write entire travel itineraries for countries I want to go to. It must be infuriating for Ben, but he’s content enough to let me do it 😀 For the sake of your sanity as a reader, I have tried to narrow down my top travel experiences for this list.
In no particular order:
- South-East Asia – I’ve travelled around Vietnam, but I would love to see Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, and Indonesia too!
- Uzbekistan – everything about this fascinating country draws me to it!
- Mongolia – I’ll always regret not going there from China, given the proximity!
- Bhutan – omg this would be an ultimate dream! After going to Nepal I’ve desperately wanted to see Bhutan!
- A Balkans Road Trip! – I want to hire a car and drive – Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro (Also want to see Albania and North Macedonia but you can’t take a hire car through…)
- Georgia and Armenia – when I decided to embark on an ESL internship, it was a toss-up between China or Georgia. I am super happy I went to China, but I would totally love to explore Georgia too!
- South America trip – Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador
- The Inca Trail, Peru
- A hiking adventure in Chile and Argentina (and I want to see the Welsh villages of Patagonia)
- Japan and South Korea
- An African safari
- Explore the pyramids of Egypt and maybe cruise the Nile!
- Interrail parts of Europe
- Hike the G20 trail in Corsica

Much more concise and to the point, especially given that I will happily do all the trips Becky wants to do too!
